Product overview

The salt alkali resistant polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane is specially developed for waterproof of the buildings and underground engineering in the high salt and alkali areas or coastal areas. This product is based on filament polyester felt as the base, with high quality asphalt and high performance SBS as the main raw material, mixed with encrypt solid material, the impregnation and cover material prepared with special formula and technology, the upper surface is covered with polyethylene film, the lower surface is covered with fine sand or polyethylene film. It’s a kind of modified asphalt waterproof membrane.

Product performance

* It has excellent salt and alkali resistance, resistance to chloride ion penetration, for a long time in high saline alkali environment, its waterproofing performance can still keep good.

* It can form high strength waterproofing layer and has strong resistance to pressure water.

* High tensile strength, high tear resistance, high elongation, good dimensional stability, strong adaptability to base shrinkage deformation.

Construction technology

* Base treatment:

1:The waterproof layer shall meet the requirements of the specifications , be solid , smooth and no debris.

2:Brushing base treatment agent, the requirement is not to expose the bottom and missing brushing.

3:Detail node processing, yin-yang angle, deformed joint should be provided with an additional layer of saline-alkali resistant material of the same material, and the width of the additional layer shall be in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding specifications.

* The coils laying:

  The hot melt method is used to paste the coiled material and the base, the coiled material and the coiled material. The bottom surface and the base surface of the waterproof roll are baked by hot melt tools. When the asphalt on the surface of the coil shines to the melting state, roll the coils while baking, and then rolling with the roller to make it bond firmly with the base or the coiled material.

* Lap seal of rolling materialthe lap width of the coiled material is 100mm. The lap zone of the coiled material should be sealed separately, and the hot melt method is also used for construction. The overflowing hot melt modified asphalt is applied to the lap joint of the upper and lower coils, the width is 2mm and the width should be even and straight.

It meets the physical properties of polyester tire in GB18242-2008 "Elastomer modified Asphalt Waterproof membrane", and also meets the requirement of resistance to chloride ion penetration on the surface coating of TJT 275-2000 "Technical Code for anticorrosion of concrete structure in Harbour Engineering".

 

 

Transport and storage

* The coil should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment, and protective measures should be taken to avoid sun and rain.

* During transportation, products of different types and specifications should be stacked in categories and can’t be mixed up; far from heat sources, no contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvents.

* During transport, it should be placed horizontal or vertical to prevent tilt, pressure and if necessary, cover with felt cloth.

* Storage temperature not exceeding 45, height of amplifier not exceeding 5 layers.

* Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the storage period is 12 months from the date of production. Once exceed the storage period, the products can also be used normally after passing the inspection.
