Why do balconies need to be waterproof?

1. Waterproof of large surface for the balcony

According to the local climate conditions and the site conditions of tile laying on the wall and floor, JS polymer cement-based waterproofing paint or polyurethane waterproofing paint should be properly selected for large-scale waterproofing treatment; balcony plane construction must turn around the wall (or fence) about 300 mm, and do a good job of sealing treatment.

2. The position of each orifice

Flexible and strong bonding polyurethane sealants are used for sealing treatment.

3. The junction of ground and wall

Cracks are easy to occur in the junction area, so waterproof reinforcement layer treatment is needed.

Attention

During construction, if waterproof foundation treatment has been done, the original waterproof layer should not be destroyed during secondary waterproofing.

Waterproofing materials must conform to the relevant national standards, and have the corresponding test reports, factory certificates and other information.

Professional construction schemes must be adopted during construction.

After the completion of the construction, the protection shall be carried out according to the requirements, and the waterproof and water closure test shall be carried out. The construction of the next working procedure shall be carried out only after the acceptance is qualified.
